Why aren't my apps being blocked?
Proofy requires Screen Time permission to block apps. Go to Settings → Screen Time and make sure it's enabled. Also check that Proofy has been granted the necessary permissions during onboarding.
Can I unlock my apps early?
Yes — use the break-glass unlock for situations where you genuinely need access. This is meant for emergencies, not shortcuts.
What happens to my proof photos?
Your photos are analyzed only to verify your task, then permanently deleted from our servers. We never store or share them.
Which apps can I block?
You can block specific apps or entire categories like Social, Games, and Entertainment. Essential apps like Phone are always accessible via the emergency allowlist.
Does Proofy track my screen time?
No. Proofy only manages the apps you choose to block. It does not monitor your overall screen time or usage.
How do I cancel my Pro subscription?
Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Proofy, then tap Cancel Subscription.
